DIY: Fettuccine Carbonara with Tuna & Parsley

Fettuccine Carbonara with Tuna & Parsley

I love carbonara. The thing is that i don't know how to make it until i search on youtube. And then "What?? that's it? That simple??? Wooouuuww... ok i'll try".

I think this is the easiest pasta i've ever made so far.

For 1 portion:
1 egg
Grated Cedar Cheese (around 50 gr - more or less) or you can use parmesan instead
Fettuccine (or other type of pasta)
Shreded Steam Tuna (or you can replace it with other option such as slice salami, sausage, canned tuna etc)
A pinch of Salt
White pepper (or black pepper)
Olive oil about  2-3 table spoon for frying the tuna
Water to boil the fettuccine

Optional:
Slice of Parsley
Chili powder

Boil the pasta until al dente with a pinch of salt. Not to much tough, because the cheese is already salty.
In a bow, whisk egg with white pepper. Add in the cheese and parsley.
Fry the tuna in a hot oil, until it turn slightly brown. (Or if you use canned tuna, just warm it for a while).
After the pasta is al dente, pour out the water out but leave it a bit on the pan (not too much though). Put the pasta back to the pan, pour on the egg, cheese & parsley. Mix it well. And last, pour in the tuna and mix it well. If it too thick, pour a little bit more of hot water.

Serve it with a pinch of parsley on top with a little bit of chili powder if you like your pasta a little bit hotter.

I Love It!!! Even though i put too much cheese on the egg mix, i still love it. Cheesy me like it. Hahaha..
